How is this different from other news aggregators?

We've taken a proverbial "step back" in the evolution of aggregated content. We feel there is still a place for the human element when it comes to aggregating and highlighting relevant content. While robots are good at filtering large amounts of content, they lack an ability to intuitively package only the most relevant content.

We do not guarantee each piece of content you create will make it onto the site. However, our feed readers constantly crawl our network for new content. Our editors then review and categorize each post

How do I get my content listed on the home page?

First of all you have to apply and be accepted to the network. While there is no guarantee that your content will appear on the home page, our editorial team will be looking for the best content out there, so your hard work will be rewarded.

Can I get my content on TechDispenser.com if I'm not part of the network?

No, as a benefit to our partners, Tech Dispenser only displays content from blogs and sites accepted into our network.

Can I display Tech Dispenser headlines on my site?

How do I submit my site?

It's easy, just go to our application, fill out some basic information about you and your site, submit and wait for approval.

What types of sites get accepted?

Ones with original, tech related content. View our list of contributors to see how your site stacks up.

How do I know if my site was approved?

You'll receive a notification email informing you of your approval status. If approved, the email will contain information on how to create your account and get started.

Do I need to display advertising to be part of the network?

Yes, displaying our ads is a requirement. However, if we do not have any paying ads in the system, you can specify a default ad to run in its place.

Can I have more than one site in the network?

If your sites are technology related and great quality, you can have as many sites in the network as you want.

My blog is based outside the U.S., can I still join the Network?

Yes, Tech Dispenser is currently accepting applications from all English-language blogs regardless of location. Payments for advertising can be made in US Dollars, Euros, or Pounds Sterling; simply indicate your preferred currency when you sign up for Tech Dispenser.

Advertising Options

How much money can I make?

Tech Dispenser is working with name-brand advertisers who wish to reach viewers who are passionate about technology. Tech Dispenser splits net revenues 50/50 with our publishers.

What types of ads will run on my site?

Text and image ads will appear in a standard 160x600 "skyscraper" unit in the location of your choice. When there are no ads in our system, you can set a default through Adify (i.e. your Google Adsense ads) to run in this spot.

If I sign up can I run non-Network ads on my site?

Yes! Membership in the Network is non-exclusive and you can continue to run other network ads and promotions. Additionally, our ad serving product allows for you to identify default ads that can revert automatically when Network ads are unavailable.

How do I advertise on your site/network?

You can start by browsing our list of sites available and selecting the categories or sites you would like to buy. From here, it's just a few quick steps to place your media buy:

1. Sign up for Adify, our trusted partner for powering the Tech Dispenser ad network.
2. Upload your ads. Most Tech Dispenser sites support the 160x600 skyscraper format. Ads can be either images, Flash, or other Rich Media formats. You can also use our DesignShop to create your own ads online.
3. Enter your campaign details, including pricing, budget, and other targeting options. Tech Dispenser pricing starts at $20 CPM.
4. Pay. We accept all major credit cards and prepayment by PayPal. If you represent a media agency or other party that prefers invoicing, contact us for invoice-based payments.

How do I get paid?

You will be paid Net 30 for advertising running on your site. Payments will come from our trusted advertising partner, Adify. If your net-30 revenue does not meet the minimum payment amount of $100, this revenue will roll over to the following month, and you will be paid then.

What's Adify?

Adify is a third-party ad serving technology that Tech Dispenser uses to serve and manage ad campaigns. Additionally, they manage publisher accounts so each site owner can login and review their progress. All payments for advertising on your site will come from Adify as well.
